Jimmy “The Titan” Ambriz (born March 20, 1977) is an American mixed martial artist. He currently competes in the Super Heavyweight division. He is a former King of the Cage Super Heavyweight Champion. His nickname “The Titan” is for his enormous size and raw power. Ambriz sports victories over Dan Bobish, and Ruben Villareal.
Ambriz was expected to face former WWE and TNA wrestling star Bobby Lashley on January 30, 2010 at Strikeforce: Miami,[1] but for reasons unknown, Ambriz was dropped as an opponent for Lashley.[2]
Ambriz stepped in for injured Jesse Wallace to fight Mike Guidry at Tachi Palace Fights 7 on December 2 in the heavyweight division.[3]
It is announced the next opponent of Ambriz. The Titan is expected to face the Bulgarian giant Lyubomir Simeonov at the MAXFIGHT-21 event, in May 27, 2011.[4] After numerous punches Ambriz was forced to tap in the first round.
Ambriz’ last fight was at the first Super Fight League event, SFL 1, and he fought against debuting Indian fighter Satish Jamia.[5] He won the fight via TKO (punches) in the 1st round of the fight.
