Travis Wiuff (born March 15, 1978) is a mixed martial arts fighter born in Minnesota, United States. He competes in the Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight divisions. He was a two-time NJCAA All-American wrestler and the 1999 NJCAA national runner up at 265 lb (120 kg).
Wiuff won the Yamma 8 Man Heavyweight Tournament as well he was twice the IFO light heavyweight champion, IFC Americas cruiserweight champion and IFC United States light heavyweight champion. He holds notable victories over former UFC heavyweight champion Ricco Rodriguez, former IFL middleweight champion Matt Horwich, and UFC veterans Sean Salmon, Chris Tuchscherer, Jeff Monson, Keith Jardine, and reigning Bellator Fighting Championship light heavyweight champion Christian M’Pumbu.[1] Wiuff Is signed to a three fight contract with Bellator Fighting Championship.
Travis has recently been diagnosed with an inoperable tumor located near his brain stem. It is reported that he has been struggling with the disease for the past three years and will be unable to compete in the upcoming Bellator season.
