Trivia

Mandaloniz refereed Anderson Silva‘s fight against Yushin Okami in the opening round of the Rumble on the Rock Welterweight Tournament. About 3 minutes into the fight, Silva threw what was deemed an illegal upkick that rendered Okami unconscious. Anderson has since claimed that he did not know such kicks were illegal (they would be considered legal in the promotion he had been fighting in Pride Fighting Championship). Regardless of the controversy, it counts as one of Anderson Silva’s 4 losses.
