At what point is MMA considered mainstream? How about if you can watch live UFC events at your local movie theatre? Well we all know it is as popular as ever, but is only geared to get even bigger. On March 27th for UFC 111, 300+ theatres are going to be bringing MMA that much closer in full HD.
With an event that will surely be remembered, UFC 111 hosts main card events with Georges St-Pierre versus Dan Hardy and Frank Mir versus Shane Carwin. Along with other great fights and a new way for the public to get closer to the action, UFC 111 will be a monumental event.

Randy Couture (-130) vs. Brandon Vera (+100)
Records: Couture is 16-10 overall, including 5-5 in his last ten fights, while Vera is 11-3 overall, including 3-3 in his last six fights.
Fighting Styles: Couture looks to leverage world-class wrestling and dirty boxing, while Vera depends upon his Muay Thai and submission wrestling to control fights.
Accomplishments / Notable: Couture is a former Olympic Greco-Roman wrestling alternate, three-time former UFC heavyweight champion and a two-time light heavyweight champion, and a UFC Hall-of-Famer. He’s the UFC’s (and MMA’s) oldest champion ever and among the most popular fighters in MMA history. Vera’s a former grappling and WEC light heavyweight champion.

“It doesn’t matter. I’m going to fight the same fight either way. I did WEC East Coast vs. West Coast and got booed. I don’t blame the crowd for going for Hardy. That’s what they should do. I’m not going to take anything personal.”
- Mike Swick when asked how he’ll adjust to the English crowd likely booing him and loudly supporting countryman Dan Hardy at this weekend’s UFC 105: Couture vs. Vera event. The fight for Swick (14-2) will be the biggest, and potentially toughest, of his career as he takes on red-hot local product Hardy (22-6) to determine the #1 contender to Georges St. Pierre.
