Gracie University, headquartered in Torrance, California, is a world-renowned martial arts school and the global epicenter for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Founded by Carlos Gracie in Brazil in 1925, the institution was brought to the United States by Rorion Gracie in 1978. Today, it continues to flourish under the guidance of Ryron and Rener Gracie, with the Torrance location serving as the global headquarters for hundreds of Certified Training Centers and over 150,000 home-study students learning online in 196 countries.
