“I’m going to be straight-up honest with you, man, the last time I was at this weight was in middle school… (The weight cut’s) not good. Not good. (I’m) moody. You just don’t feel the same, you know what I’m saying? It’s mental, but it’s not a good feeling, to be honest with you. I’m a little anxious.”
– Kimbo Slice in recent comments to Loretta Hunt of Sherdog relaying how difficult his weight cut has been for his 215 lbs catch weight fight with Houston Alexander at this weekend’s The Ultimate Fighter 10: Heavyweights finale. Slice usually fights at a shredded 235 lbs, so any cut – let alone 20 lbs – could have a significant impact on his performance. Coupled with Slice’s bum knee (and the difficult cut being the first of his career) and Alexander bettors have to like what they’re hearing.
