“I wanted to let my fans know that I’m going to come back to the UFC & finish my contract. Not because the haters are talking [expletive] about me being scared of Rashad or [Darrill Schoonover] or anybody else. I’m coming back for my fans & to shut Rashad’s mouth up & shut Dana’s mouth up. Then after that I’m going back to doing movies & I might do a boxing match once a year just to stay in shape.”
- Quinton Jackson on his website officially announcing his awaited return to the UFC. Jackson indicated that he felt disrespected and bullied by the UFC, as well as having greater opportunities waiting in Hollywood, as his reasons for retirement when it was announced last September. However, after a short break from fighting coupled with appearing alongside Bradley Copper and Liam Neeson in The A Team movie, Rampage now appears ready to fight Rashad Evans and cash another UFC check (not necessarily in that order).
TUF 10 Finale: Brendan Schaub vs. Roy Nelson

The last episode of the tenth season of The Ultimate Fighter consists of four fights that will ultimately lead to the finale matchup and a chance at a $100,000 contract fighting for the UFC.
Well it doesn’t take long to cut to the chase of what the entire season has been boiling up to. Dana White actually pulls Kimbo Slice aside and asks if he wants to fight. Kimbo, considering his knee injury and that he would be fighting James McSweeney, a strong kickboxer, surprises Dana and the millions watching in turning down the chance to fight.
One thing we know is that Kimbo already has a spot to fight in the December 5th fightcard being televised on Spike TV.

Contributor: Richard Green. UFC 104 was held on Saturday night, and frankly, my shock has yet to wear off. The main event pitted Pride Fighting Championship wunderkind Mauricio “Shogun” Rua against the inscrutable Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida. Machida entered the bout a heavy favorite. He had never lost a round in the UFC, let alone an entire fight. In the aftermath of the dismantling of former-champion Rashad Evans at his hands, many declared that the “Machida era” had begun. Apparently, Mauricio Rua never got the memo.
The Ultimate Fighter 10: Heavyweights Week 2

Fight fans, MMA Full Contact back again with a recap of The Ultimate Fighter 10: Heavyweights Week 2.
If you watched last week’s TUF season debut episode, you can take pride in the fact that you were part of history. Well, not real history – but UFC history. The debut episode that saw team selection, a re-introduction of Internet sensation and former Elite XC main eventer Kimbo Slice to some, and John Madsen dominate Abe Wagner in a bloodbath, was the highest-rated (total viewers) TUF episode ever. Pretty cool, huh?
Dana White has promised that this season will be the most entertaining ever. If so, that’s a lot of good fights and shenanigans to top from previous seasons. Bloody fights, shocking outcomes, drunken rampages, sickening practical jokes – the show has seen it all. Would this week’s episode start down that path? Drum roll please…. eh, not so much. The episode featured zero high jinks back at the house, poor conditioning throughout a so-so fight, and a questionable outcome. Hold the Emmy, please. However, next week’s episode promises what everyone wants to see – but more on that later.
The show opened at the Vegas house with Roy “Big Country” Nelson relaying that he wants to fight Slice. The fight’s been on his radar for years and he thinks that it would be a good match up for him. As everyone knows “styles make fights”, and Nelson undoubtedly thinks that his strong grappling would be Slice’s exit from competition. Was it a little foreshadowing by show producers?
