Although they dared to dream, EliteXC and Affliction eventually burned through more cash than they took in and closed up shop. Too bad, they treated fans to some great fights and interesting event posters containing the likes of Fedor Emelianenko and Kimbo Slice. Now that’s a pair that you don’t see together in a sentence too often.
